Derek had a point. Right now Stiles was in shock and awe. He'd gone out into the woods after Scott and woke up out of a coma to this existence. Which also begged the question, where was the vampire who had dined and dashed on him to begin with? Had the scent of so many werewolves in the area scared him off?
Subconsciously he wiped at his chine with the sleeve of his opposite arm, looking a bit anxious at the prospect of greeting sunlight for the first time since his transformation.
"You sure this is a good idea? I mean I've seen all the movies. What if I 'poof'? I mean, turn into dust and ash? Then how are you going to explain that to Scott? Or my dad?" He was nervous and when he was nervous his only defense mechanism was to talk incessantly, even if he didn't make any sense at all.
He lagged behind Derek, worrying at his bottom lip as he cautiously stepped into the direct sunlight. His eyes clenched shut, fully expecting his body to burst into flames.
Nothing dramatic happened at all.
"Guess we can cross off sunlight and sparkling. Oh and before you go an try the whole 'stake' myth, can we just skip that for now?"
