Derek's growl startled him. In fact it startled him so much that he dropped the meat and jumped. He jumped so high that he was suddenly clinging to the ceiling like it was nothing.
"Wow! Did you see that?" Yeah, totally ignoring how uncomfortable his very presence seemed to make Derek. Stiles was too in awe of his own awesomeness. "I'm like Spiderman!"
Just watch him crawl his way around your ceiling. Totally awesome, right?
The scent of fresh blood brought him to the ground again, landing in graceless, grunting heap - apparently he wasn't the most graceful of vampires. He moved towards Derek so fast it probably startled the both of them. Grabbing the bag, he gave it one long sniff before recoiling with a grimace. It wasn't alive and it wasn't going to be very nurturing for a baby vampire like himself. "I do, but at the same time I don't. It's like the last burnt fry on my plate. And what were you saying about sparkling?"
